Meet the Wiggle Butt Team
Emily Delaney, MS, FFCP
Emily joined the Wiggle Butt Academy team in 2024. She grew up with family dogs her whole life and finally took the leap to get her first dog as an adult in 2009, an aussie named Cooper. From there her desire to work with dogs took off.
Emily has a Masters degree in Biology and has 12 years of experience working in the animal industry from vet tech to dog trainer. She enjoys training and competing with her own dogs and has achieved titles in Agility, Barn Hunt, CATs, CGC, Rally & Trick Dog. Emily is Pet First Aid/CPR and Fear Free certified, and also accruing hours to sit for her CPDT certification where she has a strong desire to use her skills to work with dogs through manners, sports and cooperative care.
Emily shares her home with her husband, two kids, two aussies (Rue & Echo), a shepherd mix (Harper), and 2 cats (Han Solo & Maz).
Completing the Fear Free Animal Program allows trainers to work in partnership with veterinary teams to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress and improve an animal’s emotional wellbeing during veterinary care and home care. This certification program is designed to give qualified animal trainers the knowledge and tools required to begin implementing Fear Free techniques with their clients’ pets at the veterinary hospital, through in-clinic training classes for puppies and kittens, and in day-to-day training of animals in the home.
