Welcome to our resources page for The City of Frisco's Community Science Night! We are delighted to support the City's Animal Advisory Committee to share some fun facts about dogs. Our focus was on three very interesting characteristics of our furry friends:
How Dog Vision Differs from Human Vision: we brought some fun boxes for the kids to peer through that would let them see through dog's eyes!
How Dog's Scent-abilities Differ from Humans: we brought some scents used in teaching dog scent detection work and let the kids smell them.
Dogs Amazing Communication through Body Language: we shared some pictures of dog body language and asked the kids -- "Is it safe to pet this dog?"
